Emily started playing volleyball in the third grade and fell in love with the sport. She attended Chantilly High School and was a two sport varsity athlete, playing basketball and volleyball. Emily started playing club volleyball in Northern VA where she grew up. She finished up her club career with Metro out of Washington DC and committed to a preferred walk on position at Penn State University. She played as a DS and earned a two year scholarship. Emily graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology - Applied Exercise and Health. This is her third season coaching a U17 club team and she is thrilled to be a part of the Happy Volley Academy family.
