Who we are
Happy Volley Volleyball Academy is a new club for girls volleyball founded in 2020 in State College, Pennsylvania. The primary goal of the club is to provide the highest quality training in youth volleyball for athletes between the ages of 13 and 18. In our first year the club fielded 11 teams and attended several tournament events in the club year 2020-2021. Two HVA club teams attended the national playoffs in Orlando in 2021.
World-class volleyball training and match play are the primary goals of the mission for the academy. However, the club aims to train the members of the club to be the best team players possible. The club works to expand the horizons of our members throughout the middle school and high school years. But we go further - we expect that our students will be leaders in athletics and in life, in club activities as well as life outside volleyball. We do this by stressing:
-
Sportsmanship
-
Team Leadership
-
Year-by-Year Growth in Skill
-
Consistent Coaching Across Teams and Ages
-
Student Mentorship Across Age Groups
-
Club Unity and Respect
After another very successful year the club looks to grow in 2022 and beyond. Come and join our open gyms and discover the HVA for yourself!
